Iām Kim⦠aka Kimberly⦠aka Mom⦠aka Babe/Wifeā¦
aka āthe girl who takes naked pictures in small town Montana.ā
And honestly⦠yeah, that one stuck š
A Little About Me
I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada (or Sasky if you know, you know). Montana has always been part of my story though ā I grew up visiting family and friends here, and somewhere along the way⦠it turned into home.
I met my husband here, built a life here, and now this little small town is where my business ā and my heart ā lives. Before all of this, it was just me and my son, Ryden.
And funny enough⦠heās actually the reason I picked up a camera in the first place.
How Photography Started
In Canada, we get 12 whole months of paid maternity leave (I know⦠wild, right!?). So there I was, home with my baby, and I needed something creative to pour intoā¦
So I turned to YouTube. Thatās where it all started.
Learning lighting.
Learning angles.
Learning how to see people.
And my first subject?
Always my son š¤
From there, I started asking friends and family if I could practice ā and if you know how this goes⦠once you photograph one person, it spreads like wildfire. Suddenly I had people reaching out.
And I was learning with every single session.
Before Boudoir
For years, I focused on:
- Family sessions
- Seniors / graduation
- Lifestyle photography
And I loved it.But then one day⦠everything shifted.
My First Boudoir Session
My cousinās girlfriend at the time asked me if I would shoot her boudoir photos. And Iāll be honestā¦
I had to go straight to Pinterest to figure out what that even meant š In my head it was very much ābedroom boudoirāā¦
So we shot in a poorly lit room⦠with a bed⦠and I look back now like š

š
But something about it⦠stuck with me. It sparked something.
Finding My Style
For the first 5-ish years, I would have called myself a light and bright boudoir photographer. But over time⦠I found myself craving more depth. More emotion. More mood. And now?
Iāve fully crossed over to the daaarrrkk sideā¦
and I love it here š¤
What Boudoir Became For Me
What I didnāt expectā¦
was how much this would not be about photos. Over the years, Iāve had the privilege of working with so many incredible women. And almost every single one comes in with a story.
A reason.
A why.
Some are celebrating.
Some are healing.
Some are trying to find themselves again.
And somewhere along the way, I realizedā¦
This isnāt just photography.
Itās therapeutic.
Itās emotional.
Itās powerful.
And I fell in love with it more every single time.
What Itās Like to Shoot With Me
If you book a session with me⦠just know this: Weāre going to have fun. Iām probably going to make corny (and slightly inappropriate) jokes.
Iām going to move furniture, chase light, and put you in positions that feel weird at first but look incredible.
Iāll help you into outfits you didnāt think you could pull off. And most of the time?
Iām just winging it ā following light, energy, and the moment. By the end of your sessionā¦
youāll likely be standing there, completely comfortable, talking to me like youāre in your everyday clothes.
And thatās my favorite part.
Why Iām Starting This Blog
I want this to be a space where you can:
- Learn what boudoir is really like
- Feel more confident before booking
- Get answers to the questions youāre too nervous to ask
- And maybe⦠see yourself in a new way
If Youāre Hereā¦
If you found your way here, thereās probably a reason. Maybe youāve been thinking about booking. Maybe youāre curious. Maybe youāre just not sure yet. And thatās okay. Read through my blogs.
Get a feel for me. If I call to you ā reach out š¤ If not, thatās okay too. But I have a feelingā¦
you might just be in the right place.
